IBL To Have A
WESTERN CONFERENCE
After All!

Last week we announced the interest from a potential California IBL Team. Well, things have been moving fast since that post was made last week and the reality is, "There WILL be an IBL Western Conference!"

Today the IBL spoke to Erwin Swetnam in Idaho who has committed to an IBL Team out of Idaho.

"Thanks again for the opportunity to let TEAM IDAHO ELITE compete in the IBL. We are excited and looking forward to the challenge. Battle On!" Said Swetnam.

The "Idaho Elite" will be based out of Boise Idaho but will feature fighters from throughout the State and possibly outside the state. It is planned now that "Idaho Elite" will now align with the "So-Cal Fighting Stallions" as well as possibly Jason Carley's "Laramie Landminds" out of Laramie, Wyoming. Although it may seem like a long drive for Carley's Team to Southern California, the reality is, Amateur MMA is still not legal in California so at least 3 of the 4 Western Conference events will be held in Idaho and Wyoming. If a Nevada, Arizona or New Mexico IBL Team fills the 4th slot for the Western Conference, the 4th season event could be held in one of those other states.

Swetnam is associated with the ISCF Sanctioned Promotion, "Ultimate Northwest Fighting Championship" (UNFC) who will be hosting another ISCF Sanctioned event at the Eldon Evans Expo Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, USA this coming June 7th. The UNFC is operated by Jeremy Burtch, Nate Petit and Ray Peralez. who may also have interest in the new "Idaho Elite" IBL Team.

Although the "Laramie Landminds" and the "Idaho Elite" will have their own home venues, the So-Cal Fighting Stallions will still need help with their home venue due to the fact that Amateur MMA is not legal in California. As previously mentioned, the So-Cal Fighting Stallions are willing to pack up and travel to meet up in the ring with whomever their competition is. The good side for them is now they may not need to travel all the way to Missouri for their events.

Now the IBL will be adding two different teams to the Central Conference. Already IBL Director of Operations Steve Crawford has some Teams ready to add to the Central Conference so the change will not be a big issue since the season won't be starting until late June now.

As many here know, PASSION drives individuals to succeed. However, without that Passion towards something you are working on, the fire soon dies. So is the story with Jay Larkin's recent leadership role with the IFL, - International Fight League. Larkin was billed as the Knight on the big white horse who was going to ride the IFL to the top. Instead, he has been coasting down hill wondering "What's up?"

Larkin has plenty of accomplishments to his name. Over 20 years at media giant Showtime with claims of rising to become one of the most powerful deal makers in sports and entertainment during his storied career. He created countless entertainment specials involving stars ranging from Dave Chappelle, Britney Spears, The Spice Girls and Jay-Z to legends like Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones among others for the network and pay per view.

During that time Larkin also oversaw the channel's entrance into boxing, beginning in 1986 with Marvelous Marvin Hagler's middleweight title defense against John Mugabi, thus creating the powerhouse Showtime Championship Boxing. He negotiated the deals and was the executive producer of some of boxing's most legendary matchups of the last quarter century, including numerous Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Julio Cesar Chavez fights. Larkin also was one of the key negotiators for what was the biggest money fight in history, the 2002 heavyweight championship bout between Lennox Lewis and Tyson that happened because of a landmark deal between Showtime (Tyson's network) and rival HBO (Lewis' network). Just before leaving Showtime, Larkin put together Ricky Hatton vs. Kostya Tszyu and Joe Calzaghe vs. Jeff Lacy, two career-changing events for both Hatton and Calzaghe. Just prior to joining the IFL, he completed negotiations for the upcoming blockbuster match of Calzaghe and Mikkel Kessler for HBO and Sports Network.

So what has he done for the IFL?
That is where the problem is...And that problem is Passion, or lack of it in Larkin's case towards MMA as a Sport!

The services were not needed this year since the IFL events were only in states where Boxing Commissions ran the show. However, this was not a negative to the ISCF. The ISCF. had a very successful relationship with the IFL and made some great relationships with many in the IFL. Those relationships formed from the ISCF. were transferred over to the founding of the IBL (International Battle League) where it was made clear that the IBL was not another PRO FIGHT creation of competition vs the IFL. In fact, even without the PRO tie in, the IBL's structure is VERY Different than the structure of the IFL.

It's no secret that Larkin only saw the usual MMA $$ signs when he took over the IFL Helm as CEO. However, what the Boxing Fan Larkin did not have was PASSION for MMA and without Passion, you can't sell what you do. This was Larkin's main problem. Sure he saved the IFL tons of money by cutting tons of people out and changing the TEAM structure of the League. However, no matter what he did, he just wasn't an MMA fan. This lack of Passion for the sport showed more often than not to those he tried to sell the IFL to and without sponsors, TV or no TV, it's hard to make it in the "Big Leagues" where IFL Founder Kurt Otto and his crew took the IBL in just 1 year. Otto and his team PROVED what PASSION could do and in less than a year, Larkin has proved what lack of it can do also...

As the founder of the IFL, Kurt Otto had passion! Otto DID Care about the teams, the fighters, the IBL and more so, MMA as a Sport! That Passion came from his background for the sport which has been life long. He began training in the martial arts at age seven, and continued throughout his high school and college years, competing in full contact Tae Kwon Do (he is a second degree blackbelt) and kickboxing, as well as being a highly competitive wrestler.

That PASSION Otto showed is something Larkin has never shown, not even to the press when talking about the IFL. Without that much needed passion, Larkin has done little to sell the IFL as a mainstream MMA League. In fact, he has even made comments such as "Only UFC is making money in MMA, no one else." Well Mr. Larkin, tell that to those we work with, or those successful organizations such as Strikeforce, Elite XC, and many others pulling down million dollar event gates. MMA is still growing, and all Larkin had to do was "Believe in it as a Sport."

MMA has not even come close to it's peak and the sport is STILL Exploding! When the IBL was first formed, Commissioner Steve Fossum (Left) and Director of Operations, Steve Crawford (Left) made clear that their loyalty to the IFL would keep them from creating a PRO Structured TEAM Fight League. Although we cannot talk about some of the inside scoop as of yet, what if we shared with you today some scoop that may open the doors WIDE OPEN for the IBL to add in a full PRO MMA Team League that it's Amateur league would feed directly in to? Well Fight Fans, lets just say. "Things are in the works!"

Larkin

Otto

Bas Rutten

Let us just say that those loyal ties with the IFL from those in the ISCF and IBL were never with Larkin... or his lack of Passion for MMA. Those loyal ties were to those the ISCF and IBL saw as Passionate Promoters of MMA. From Kurt Otto to the guy who set up their outstanding fight ring, Willie Faircloth, those loyal relationships were with those who "Made things happen!"

Two people that come to mind the most are Keith Evans and Lisa Faircloth. Together these two laterally BUILT the "Working Structure" for the IFL's Event success. They did not have a play in the "Spending" part of the company, but in their jobs, they brought SUCCESS to the IFL. without them, those IFL events we saw would have been a disorganized mess! As Director of Events, Lisa Faircloth took the bull by the horns and simply put, "MADE THINGS HAPPEN!"

Another individual who was a CLASS ACT, yet no surprise to anyone here is the IFL's Vice President of Fighter Operations, Bas Rutten. No matter where he was, what he was doing, Bas had time for ANYONE! To us, he was the TRUE Ambassador of MMA and is one of the most colorful and well-respected personalities in all of the MMA world. Bas competed professionally for over 20 years in various MMA disciplines, and was a three time champion in Pancrase (the Japanese precursor to what is now MMA) as well as holding the UFC heavyweight division title.

His first role with the IFL was as head coach of the Los Angeles-based Anacondas. He then moved into the broadcast booth, co-hosting of the popular "IFL Battleground" program, while also serving as ambassador for the league and the sport in general. In addition to the broadcasting role, he was named Vice President, Fighter Operations in January 2008.

Keith Evans was the IFL's Vice President of Operations. Their backgrounds did not start with the IFL. They were directly responsible for a lot of the growth and development of the UFC, Ultimate Fight Championship, before being offered a position at the IFL.

Evans and Faircloth joined the IFL in January of 2006 from the UFC, where they spent several years helping orchestrate the re-branding and growth of the UFC. While there he handled a variety of duties, many of which he has had a hand in with the IFL as well such as logistical issues. He played a key day to day role in the success of over 30 live UFC events, overseeing information technology, website, merchandise, and sponsorships, as well as serving as business development liaison with UFC licensees. Simply put, Keith, like Lisa, "MADE THINGS HAPPEN!"

So what is this all about? Well, lets just say that the IFL's loss may be the IBL's gain. What does that mean exactly? What did the IFL lose? Well sorry, but we can't shed a lot of light on it right now, but we will soon. We have given enough insight away for now and if you put it all together, you should be able to come to your own potential conclusion. With that being said, we have to get back to work, and we suggest you all do the same, so..."Battle ON!"

OK... A Little More Info On The Story Above

IFL CEO Jay Larkin has made one of his worst decisions since taking over the IFL. This week he let go Keith Evans, IFL VP of Operations, and Lisa Faircloth, Director of Events and to "Save Money" he closed down the IFL's Las Vegas office which handled the bulk of event operations and includes tasks like signing fighters and organizing live events. However, this cost cut may be to Larkin's own throat.

Both Evans and Faircloth are former Zuffa employees and were essential to the IFL putting on a strong event any time in the coming months. A VP of Operations isn't so easily replaced, especially an experienced veteran of the MMA wars like Evans. Faircloth held together much of the Vegas staff, and her departure is said to have other IFL Operations employees sending out resumes as fast as they can print them off.

This could be a sign that the IFL is considering drastically scaling back their live event operations in the near future. If that's the case, it makes you wonder what the IFL's plan is over the long term. It seems as if they may be counting on finding a buyer soon, and are content to wait it out without losing any more money on events in the meantime.

The questions now are, who is next? Bas Rutten?

Did UFC Hurt The IFL?

Read for yourself how Dana White made it his mission to destroy them with threats to well known MMA stars like Pat Miletich, Ken Shamrock and Matt Hughes. Don't take our word for it, just click HERE.

RE: UFC Lawsuit against the IFL:
From Pat Miletich's sworn statement that Miletich gave in the UFC-IFL court case, according to the public records.
"Knowing Mr. White the way I do, I can honestly say that Zuffa's intent is bringing this litigation has nothing to do with protecting any confidential information. Rather, I believe this litigation is about one thing and one thing only -- stamping out legitimate and, indeed, healthy, competition."

"MMA EVOLUTION 9"
May 10th, 2008 - Bloomington, Illinois, USA

MMA Evolution 9
"Carnage In The Cage"

Michael Storm, ISCF Representative: The Interstate Center in Bloomington, Illinois was the site for the 9th installment of MMA Evolution on May 10, 2008. The folks from "The Hive" have figured out how to put together a power-packed fight card that does not disappoint the crowd from the opening bell to the final round. This evenings' event featured fighters from Illinois and Iowa who met in the cage to display their mixed martial arts skills with many of them making their "in cage" debut.
Here are the results of the night…

  1. Men's Lightweight
Zac Cowan, 1-0-0, Peoria Heights, IL, Geronimo Fight Club, Gary Higdon, VS Joey Davis, 1-1-0, Washington, IL, The Hive, T.J. Mohler Round 1: Davis appears content to want to begin the fight by striking. Cowan looks happier to take it to the ground. Davis throws a jab and a leg kick. Cowan catches the leg and achieves a single leg takedown and ends up with a side mount on top of Davis. Davis does a power bridge and turns toward Cowan so they are facing each other and then stands. Cowan again gets a takedown with a side mount and throws punches and hammerfists to Davis' head. Cowan is able to swing a leg over to a full mount. Davis attempts another power bridge to shake Cowan off but Cowan straddles him and allows Davis to turn and give Cowan his back. Realizing his mistake, Davis rolls out and leaves Cowan in a side mount against the cage throwing right punches to Davis' body as the round ends. The edge in the round went to Cowan.
Round 2: The round begins with both fighters throwing lazy strikes that don't bother either fighter. Cowan eventually shoots in and pushes Davis against the cage where he is able to take him down. The rest of the round was Cowan on top just pinning Davis and Davis holding the neck and hands of Cowan to prevent his strikes with an occasional attempt at an escape. The edge in the round went to Cowan.
Round 3: They begin the round by exchanging kicks and punches. Davis attempts a "superman" punch that Cowan mostly avoids and then grabs Davis around the waist. He picks Davis up and drops him on his side. From a side mount, Cowan throws fists to Davis' head and knees to his body. Davis tries the power bridge several times but Cowan keeps his weight back and blocks him. Cowan continues with the punches and knees throughout the remainder of the round.
The judges' scored the fight 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28. Winner by Unanimous Decision-Zac Cowan.

  2. Men's Middleweight
Clint Hightower, 1-0-0, Peoria, IL, Geronimo Fight Club, Gary Higdon, VS Joey Wright, 0-1-0, Peoria Heights, IL, Self Trained
Round 1: Hightower comes forward with an over-powering flurry of left/right combinations to the head of Wright. Wright attempts to tie Hightower up in order to stall the attack but Hightower throws him down and jumps on top while continuing to rain down punches. Wright was unable to defend himself causing Referee Chris Rudesill to step in and stop the fight at :24 of the round.
    Winner by TKO-Clint Hightower.

  3. Men's Middleweight
Phillip Schulte, 0-2-0, Keokuk, IA, The Dog Pound, Dan McGlasson, VS Esteban Salinas, 1-0-0, Pontiac, IL, The Hive, T.J. Mohler.
Round 1: Salinas began with a lazy jab that Schulte slapped away. Schulte threw a kick to Salinas' body but no damage was done. They dance around the ring for a short time until Salinas begins moving forward. Schulte backpedals trying to avoid Salinas. Schulte threw a kick at Salinas which Salinas sidestepped and landed a right hook to Schulte's head that put Schulte down. Salinas' confidence grew as Schulte avoided any attack by Salinas. Salinas charged forward forcing Schulte to clinch. Salinas grabs Schulte around the head and throws a knee that hits Schulte in the face. Schulte begins throwing wild kicks and punches only to be countered by more effective shots from Salinas. As the round ends, Schulte goes to his corner with a bloody nose. Doctor A.J. Cummings comes into the ring to look at Schulte's nose and asks him if he wants to continue. He told the doctor that he did not so Referee Chris Rudesill stopped the fight before the second round began.
Winner by TKO-Esteban Salinas Esteban Salinas was awarded the honor of "Fighter of the Night" as a result of his victory.

  4. Men's Light Heavyweight
DJ Day, 0-1-0, Keokuk, IA, The Dog Pound, Dan McGlasson, VS Jon Wilson, 1-0-0, Pontiac, IL, Chuck Painter.
Round 1: Wilson begins with a left/right combination to the head of Day. Day shoots for the takedown but takes a knee to the head in the process. Day does gain the takedown and in a half mount starts throwing punches down on Wilson. Day swings his leg over to a full mount and tries to throw more punches but Wilson bridges and rolls Day off and switches positions into a half mount on top of Day. Wilson now throws punches down on Day as Day simply holds onto Wilson's head and arms to stall the attack. The edge in the round went to Wilson according to the judges.
Round 2: Day shoots for a takedown, Wilson sprawls to stop it and they both stand. Day moves in and wraps his arms around Wilson's waist. He proceeds to throw Wilson down and achieve a full mount. As Day throws punches at Wilson's head, Wilson bridges and rolls. Day allows him to turn and ends up on Wilson's back. He tries to apply a rear naked choke that Wilson blocks by grabbing Day's arms. Day continues to try to sink in the choke but Wilson's defense against the choke is effective. As the round ends, Day was still on Wilson's back as he was throughout most of the round. The edge in the round went to Day.
Round 3: Wilson throws a left/right combination. Day ducks and shoots for a takedown. Wilson sprawls to block the takedown, spins around and takes Day's back. He breaks Day down to his stomach and starts throwing punches to Day's head and face. Day rolls to his side and Wilson takes a side mount still throwing punches. Day is able to work himself against the cage, roll to his back and get his legs around Wilson who still maintains the dominant position as the bell rings to end the fight. All judges scored the fight 28-29.
    Winner by Unanimous Decision-Jon Wilson.

  5. Men's Middleweight
Dan McGlasson, 4-3-0, Keokuk, IA, The Dog Pound, Self Trained, VS Scott Hoecker, 1-1-0, Pekin, IL, The Hive, T.J. Mohler
Round 1: Hoecker throws a right/left combination at McGlasson's head and then moves in to tie him up. McGlasson throws a couple of knees at Hoecker's body forcing Hoecker to step back. Hoecker approaches once again, tries another throw but ends up pulling McGlasson down on top of himself after taking a couple more knees to the body. McGlasson on top, throws punches onto Hoecker's head. Hoecker reaches up and pulls McGlasson's head down. McGlasson is able to swing his leg over and achieve a full mount. He starts to ground and pound Hoecker, forcing Hoecker to turn to his stomach. McGlasson continues to punch Hoecker in the head and forces Referee Frank Pennington to step in and stop the fight at 2:11 of the round.
    Winner by TKO-Dan McGlasson.

  6. Men's Heavyweight
Albert "Jimmy" Cresswell, 3-2-0, Fort Madison, IA, Derek Doherty, VS Robert Cordona, 1-0-0, Joliet, IL, Self Trained
Round 1: Cardona throws punches at Cresswell's head. Cresswell ducks under the blows, wrap his arms around Cardona's waist and pushes Cardona up against the cage as Cardona continues to punch at Cresswell's head. The fighters exchange knees and circle toward the center of the cage and separate. They exchange more blows, Cresswell attempts another takedown but Cardona avoids it by sidestepping and throwing punches to Cresswell's head. Throughout much of the round, Cresswell tries to take Cardona down but Cardona's confidence grows as he is able to avoid them. Cardona was able to use the cage at his back to stay on his feet or lateral movement when in the center of the cage to avoid Cresswell's attacks. Cardona also used left and right hooks to Cresswell's head to keep him off-balance. The edge in the round went to Cardona.
Round 2: Cresswell tries a takedown but ends up pinning Cardona up against the cage. Cardona turns Cresswell, sprawls and throws punches at Cresswell's body. Cresswell manages to pull Cardona's leg in and get the takedown. Cardona simply turns, gives Cresswell his back but stands and turns away from Cresswell to escape with both fighters standing. Cresswell tries another takedown but Cardona hits him in the head with a left hook. As the round ends, Cresswell was about to get a takedown but the bell stopped him. Two judges gave the round to Cardona and one gave it to Cresswell.
Round 3: Cresswell shoots for a takedown but Cardona successfully sprawls and hammers Cresswell's body with punches. Both fighters are very tired. With a minute left, they stand and throw kicks and punches at each other to finish the fight. The judges score the fight 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28.
    Winner by Unanimous Decision-Robert Cardona.

  7. Men's Welterweight
Shawn Danielson, 3-3-0, Fort Madison, IA, Derek Doherty, VS Bruce Yoakum, 2-6-0, Decatur, IL, The Hive, T.J. Mohler.
Round 1: Yoakum starts with a left/right combination to Danielson's head. Danielson drops down and grabs Yoakum by the ankle, trips him and takes him down. Yoakum gets his legs up attempting a triangle choke. Danielson stands, lifts Yoakum and drops him on his back but is unable to shake Yoakum loose. Yoakum was so busy working the triangle choke with his legs around the head and shoulders of Danielson, he didn't recognize that Danielson was able to get his arms around Yoakum's head and work Yoakum into a front choke forcing Referee Chris Rudesill to stop the fight at 1:42 of the round.
    Winner by Tap Out-Shawn Danielson.

  8. Men's Middleweight
JR McGlasson, 3-3-0, Keokuk, IA, The Dog Pound, Dan McGlasson, VS Mike Porzelius, 3-1-0, Bloomington, IL, Team Ronan, Chris Tickle
Round 1: McGlasson charges Porzelius forcing him up against the cage. Porzelius bounces off of the fence and lands on top of McGlasson. McGlasson twists and turns out from under Porzelius and is able to slip out the back and tries to work an ankle lock on Porzelius. Porzelius twists out of the ankle lock and works his way to McGlasson's back where he attempts a rear naked choke. McGlasson, holding Porzelius' hands and arms to avoid the choke, crawls to the cage and is able to use the cage to twist his body around causing Porzelius to slide off the side allowing McGlasson to get on top and punch down on Porzelius as the round ends. A close round where two judges gave the edge to Porzelius and one to McGlasson.
Round 2: Porzelius throws a left hook that McGlasson avoids by backing up but slips in the process and pulls Porzelius down on top of him. Porzelius swings his leg over into a full mount and tries to punch McGlasson. McGlasson reaches up to pull Porzelius down but extends his arm too much. Porzelius grabs the arm and swings his leg around to put McGlasson in a straight arm bar. McGlasson fights the arm bar and eventually turns into the arm bar and gets his arm out. McGlasson survived the arm bar and gains the top mount by standing over Porzelius. McGlasson throws hammerfists to Porzelius' head as Porzelius now attempts a triangle choke on McGlasson. McGlasson escapes the choke and wrestles around for a dominant position with a leg scissors around Porzelius' body. Porzelius gets out as the bell ends the round. A close round but all judges gave the edge to McGlasson.
Round 3: Porzelius starts with a leg kick that McGlasson catches and pulls him down. Porzelius fights the takedown by turning and has McGlasson on his knees with Porzelius riding high on his shoulders. Porzelius reaches down, grabs McGlasson's arm and bends it back forcing Referee Chris Rudesill to stop the fight at :39 of the round.
    Winner by Tap Out-Mike Porzelius

MMA Or CAGE FIGHTS?

If you have ever worn an ISCF Shirt that has the ISCF logo on it, you may have had someone ask, "What's MMA?" Then when you explain to them it's "Cage Fighting" they always reply with, "Oh... OK."

Well, for that very reason, the ISCF will soon offer a choice of web address logos. The usual logo will remain the same with ISCFMMA.com, but we have also acquired the web address, ISCFCageFights.com. The new address is not a different web site, it just links directly to the existing ISCF Site but has a different address. The ISCF will soon offer additional merchandise from shirts to hats etc. etc. with the new web address. This way, many of us will no longer need to explain to those we meet, "What is MMA?"

"Walkin The Walk!"
QUICK RESULTS
From This Years
2008 ISCF World Classic Amateur Championships!

Two things were promised prior to this weekend. All 81 Amateur MMA Fighters committed to themselves to give 110% and leave it all in the Cage in their quest for one of the ISCF World Classic Title Belts. The other promise was made by the ISCF to produce the best show possible with the best awards ever for the Amateur MMA Athletes who showed up to "Walk The Walk" at this years 2008 ISCF World Classic... The outcome...

BOTH PROVED TRUE!

Iowa Fighters
Talk Up MMA Training & Upcoming
ISCF MMA World Classic

A few moments ago, several Iowa MMA fighters did an interview on local Rock 108 (107.9) - www.rock108.com station. The 4 fighters, Chad Weyland (1-0, 154, 5'8" 30, 9-9-77) Mike Powell (1-0, 145, 5'6" 28, 11-27-79) Joe Ayala (5-0, 135, 5'9" 25, 7-25-82) and Josh Bumgarner (10-4, 164, 6'1" 25, 5-21-82) all took turns talking about the sport, the event and what it takes to be an MMA fighter.

All 4 are contenders in this weekends ISCF MMA World Classic at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids Iowa. They also took some time to thank their sponsors of course. All are from Waterloo, Iowa, USA and trained by Russ O'Connell.

As of this posting there are 102 Amateur MMA Fighters still confirmed to fight out of the original 121 who registered. At 102 fighters it's still way ahead of the first ISCF MMA world Classic held in Cedar Rapids last year. In that first event, there were 103 registered fighters but by this time (Prior to the weigh-ins) that number had dropped down to only 76. After weigh-ins, 58 made weight and fought in the 46 total bouts over the weekend. In defense of last years loss, many admitted after the event that they didn't believe it was going to be as good as it was. Doubting the number of awards, competition, organization etc. etc, many thought it best to pass on the first year of this great event. After being disappointed they did not follow through last year, many of them signed up for the tournament this year vowing they will indeed show up to "Walk the Walk!"

Last year fighters attended from 19 States (Missouri, Iowa, Nevada, California, New York, Virginia, Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan, Georgia, Colorado, Ohio and Wisconsin) and one from Alberta, Canada. For 2008 there are fighters attending from 22 States. The top 10 states in regards to number of contenders are;

  1. Missouri with 17 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  2. Illinois with 13 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  3. Iowa with 12 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  4. Indiana with 8 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  5. Michigan with 7 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  6. Kansas with 6 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  7. New York with 6 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  8. Texas with 5 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  9. California with 5 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
  10. Idaho with 4 fighters scheduled to attend as of Thursday, May 1st.
