NOTES
- 1-27-10: ISCF
Accepted as an Approved Amateur MMA Sanctioning Body by the South Carolina
Athletic Commission.
Along with the General
ISCF Rules, the following
ADDITIONS and LIMITATIONS must be followed for ALL Amateur
MMA events in the state of South Carolina.

- Knees are allowed only to the legs and body. NO KNEES TO THE HEAD!
- LEGAL TECHNIQUES
- 4-12-10: The SC Dept of LLR is
currently reviewing the below rules and possible changes are coming
- All closed hand strikes to the legs and body. NO striking to the head.
- The referee can step in and give a standing 8 count if he/ she feels the
fighter is hurt.
- Once any part of the fighters body other than the bottoms of their feet
touch the mat, then the standing fighter cannot strike them to the head, only to
the body.

- If a legal punch/ kick or knee knocks their opponent down, the action will
NOT continue. The standing fighter will be sent to the neutral corner and the
referee will begin the 10 count like in boxing and kickboxing. The fighter MUST
be up and ready to continue by the count of 8 or the fighter is over.-

- Striking to the face/head while on the ground.
- STRIKING TO THE HEAD WITH A CLOSED FIST IS
ALLOWED WHILE ON THE GROUND, BUT NOT THE FEET OR KNEES.
- Stomps on the feet.
- STOMPS ON THE FEES - FOOT STOMPS- WHILE
STANDING ARE ALLOWED

- All Amateur promoters must first be approved by the South Carolina Athletic
Commission.
- The South Carolina Athletic Commission must be present at the event.
- The promoter must pay the South Carolina Athletic Commission $400 to have
the event and 5% of the Gross Gate.
- All fighters are required to register with the South Carolina Athletic
Commission.
- 4-21-10 UPDATE: ALL Promoters are
required to have all event officials fees and their travel fees paid to either
the ISCF main Office here in California or to the ISCF
Event Representative in "CASHIERS CHECKS" a "MINIMUM"
of "SEVEN" days prior to the sanctioned MMA event. These
officials will include
- 1 ISCF Representative.
- 2 Referees: 1 South Carolina Referee and 1 ISCF
Appointed Referee.
- 3 ISCF Judges.
- 1 ISCF Timekeeper.
- Minimum of 2 ISCF Locker Room
Inspectors.
- *Medical Doctors are paid directly by Promoter.
- *Gate Keeper and Cage Cleaners are paid directly by Promoter.
- A list of these officials and the fees due to each of them will always be
included in the e-mail notification list of the confrimation of officials fees
paid to the ISCF or ISCF Event Representative that will be e-mailed to
the South Carolina Athletic Commission a minimum "FIVE" days
prior to the scheduled event.
- EVENT OFFICIALS
- All Judges from the Approved Amateur Sanctioning Body sanctioning the event
must register (1 year registration) with the South Carolina Athletic
Commission.
The Registration fee is $50.00.
