BLOOD TEST Report of physical
examination including an original laboratory report with the fighters name and
the date the HIV test and Hepatitis B Surface Antigen and Hepatitis C Antibody
tests were taken. The HIV test must be done within 30 days of submitting all
requirements to become licensed. The Hepatitis B & C tests can be done
within the calendar year. |

All Amateur fighters are ENCOURAGED to receive annual HIV and Hep B
Tests. However due to costs They are not
mandatory. |
- Louisiana - 11-8-06:
- As of today, Wednesday, November 8th, 2006, the Louisiana
Commission is making HIV Testing MANDATORY for ALL Amateur MMA Fighters. This is
already a mandatory requirement for all Pro Fighters in Louisiana. Tests need to
be updated every 6 months. Fighters are required to have and show a copy of
their tests from the testing location to the event physician Giving the
pre-fight physicals. Failure to show proof of such tests will result in the
fighter being pulled from the event.
